As their brains and bodies are still at a point where they are developing and growing, toxic poisons have the potential to delay your child’s physical and mental development, causing both learning and behavioral problems. The Food Quality Protection Act in the 1990′s was in fact enacted by the EPA as a response to this.

Foods that are organic also tend to contain more nutrients than their chemically produced counterparts. This can benefit not only you, but the very animals that you get your nutrition from. These nutrients continue down the food chain from one level to the next, allowing for maximum nutritional benefits of the final consumer: you. One study found that livestock which consumed natural foods produced eggs, milk, and meat that contained much higher levels of omega-3s, protein, minerals, and vitamins than animals which consumed foods containing synthetic chemicals. These nutrients are passed down the food chain to you, making the case for feeding our livestock a diet of equal quality to our own.
